2 dummys, one bike around Africa
Hi all.We are a young couple in our atempt to travel around Africa. Now we are in morocco . We need some good information to avoid later problems and costs so here is our dilemma: Anyone know if its correct the information that you can get visa at the border for Mali? If yes ....What is the point crossing from Mauritania to Mali where is this possible and how much does it cost? And in what currency can we pay? Thanks a lot to everyone 
PS: The Mauritanian Embassy in Rabat was closed for whole week and they could tel us when it will be open so we will take our visa at the border.

Hy there. Thanks for your concerne for our safety . The situation is like this: in Northen Mali is NOT SAFE and the area is guarded by UN Soldiers (North from Timbuktu/ Gao) The Bamako attack was after Paris so even in France you are NOT SAFE in this days. We are heading towards Burkina Faso, Benin,.....Towards South Africa....The ideea is to do an adventure trip Around Africa. Want to join us??? you are Welcome.

Hello travellers. Anyone can tell us if is there a Tar route from capital of Mauritania Nouakchott to Mali? If yes this road passes through which towns? And which is the point of border crossing to Mali. Thanks....

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB.
