TravellingStrom - Off Again - Like a prawn in the hot sun
G'day Y'all
Sorry I have not been around all that much, a lot of long work days has limited my forum activities drastically. Been real busy working up the funds for the next leg and thought some of you may be interested in tagging along again.
The trip this time is to ride Europe, I fly out today with the 650K9ABS and arrive Frankfurt in a day or so. In a few months or so, ride Russia, some of the Stans if I can sort out visas then China and Asia before heading home, as long as 21st Dec 2012 passes with me up VERY high
If you want to follow me on my blog or Facebook, then please do so, great to have you along, and for those overseas who would like to meet up for a , well, that should happen

Cheers

That photo of you sitting dejectedly in the Uyuni dirt next to your toppled bike is one of the all-time greats! Try to provide more like that, please.
And please say hello for me to that blissed-out German/Peruvian couple if you stop in to see them.
enjoy,
Mark

Yeah, I like the photo, don't really like the action that provided it though
I will say hi to Ingo and Cecellia for you
Are you stationary, or on the move?

Well, I have been on the road through here in Europe for one month now, plenty to go.
A quick synopsis, After riding around Turkey and visiting Gobekli Tepe and the coast route, I finally got to Gallipoli, a few weeks late for Anzac day Then through Greece, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro and I am now in Croatia, waiting for the rain to stop so I can zip over to Romania and see Draculas Castle.
There are a few recent update here
I have to say, Montenegro so far has some of the best roads, quality and skill I have ridden as well as the magnificent scenery

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
