Mexico tour ?
Looking at a basic tour in Mexico with my bike. Any recommendations ?

Have had several plans to head to Mexico by bike fail when friends backed out. I have been thinking about a solo trip as well. Have traveled a fair amount in Mexico .. all inclusive , busing around , airBNB and typically dive into the places away from the hotel zone. Also I have been touring by bike for 20 years or more , so I'm all geared up and used to it. Riding Vstrom 1000 at the moment.

I was thinking of connecting with a tour north of the border after riding down from Vancouver. I am retired so I have some free time.

I MUST get there at some point.

Mexico Tour
The Solo Mexico Motorcycle Tour can be done by anyone who rides motorcycle. It can be done with Knobbly Dunlop 606 or PilotPower.
You don't need no tour guide. Just take it slow, One day at a time. Maybe it won't do it for you. Maybe you'll find the new path, who knows.
The point is "to go". Once you embark on your journey, you'd wonder why you didn't do this earlier.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
