Wanted - Thermarest XL Basecamp stuff sack

I will very soon be the proud possessor of a Thermarest Base Camp XL - the trouble is that it doesn’t come with a stuff sack. Now I have found a 60 litre waterproof hold-all that will do the job and hold my tent too but I would like to get an appropriate sized stuff sack but I cannot seem to find anything. Does anyone have one they want to find a good home for?

Thanks

Your local camping supplies store should have a wide variety of aftermarket stuff sacks in all kinds of sizes.

Builder supply superstores are also quite good for this stuff!

Have you asked Thermarest? pretty sure it should come with one, and their customer service is outstanding

I am buying it secondhand and the buyer bought a few as a job lot - sadly, none of them had a stuff sack. I have had a look at the Thermarest site and they do a replacement sack but there are none at Go Outdoors - for those not in the UK this is a UK based chain of outdoor equipment suppliers - who are an agent for Thermarest. Time to try a few other UK agents....

Drop thermarest customer services a message, I'm sure they will help.

Last year my 11 year old mattress delaminated and they replaced it free of charge with the new updated version

Even after purging ruthlessly, I still own 8 or 10 Thermarest pads, each fitting a different lifestyle niche. In my garage I have a large crate crammed full of a variety of stuff sacks. The *only* time I ever pay for another stuff sack is for Thermarest (and similar) pads, because each one has a unique rolled size and shape, for which other stuff sacks don't work very well. For unknown reasons, these dedicated sacks are the only ones which ever get lost and need replacing.

That seems about par for the course.

I have a call in with a localish Thermarest stockist but no joy as yet. Next line of attack, if I get no joy, is Thermarest themselves - but at least the stockist has gone away to find out if they can order it in unlike the chains who have no interest in non-standard requests (true for just about all situations).

The shop - not any of the big chains - I contacted have been in contact with the lovely people at Thermarest and the stuff sack will be here in a couple of weeks. Pretty chuffed about it to be honest - as has been said great customer service from the shop and Thermarest.

Thanks everyone.

Well it didn't take 2 weeks to get here it took 4 days including the weekend to arrive. When I asked how much - "no charge" came the reply. Oddly, I suspect that any future purchases in the camping world will be somewhat biased towards Thermarest and the other companies in that group.

I am stunned by them.

I collected the stuff sack today from Ellis and Brigham at Tamworth - Ellis and Brigham are one of the smaller chains in the UK and they pulled it all together for me to get the stuff sack in the first place when others didn't want to know.
