Have the velcro wraparound grip heaters wrapped around toweling, my lady can switch them on/off and hold onto them when ever she needs to. Works a treat. She sits with her hands tucked down in front of her with the grips. I would not have them on the grab rails because I find anyone who hangs onto the grab rails puts the bike out of sinc and they are not / do not relax.
On the subject of pillions, my lady is the strangest pillion I have ever taken, and I'm going to stick with the word pillion, covers everything on the seat behind me. She had never been on a bike (41 years) till we got together. I just told her how to climb on the back so she didn't pull the bike and me over with it, (totally trashed left knee ) and away we went. Over 5 years and a 150k + kilometers later and she is still the most amazing pillion I have ever carried. Have had the bike in some fairly untidy situations and she does not flinch. She has never complained in 48c temps and -10c temps and torrential downpours that actually filled both my boots to the top with water.
And soon we are packing up the bike and heading off again.
Hehehehe Mollydog, my girl is very proficient with the camera from the back, quite often standing up on the pegs to take piccys.
Yep love my pillion.
Cheers
