From CNN.com
"The British High Commission on Wednesday ordered diplomatic dependents and non-essential staff to leave Pakistan because of the increasing danger of unrest over the U.S. confrontation with neighbouring Afghanistan."
From the British Foreign Office site:
"Pakistan
Last Updated: 19 September 2001
Still Current at: 19 September 2001
We advise against travel to Pakistan until further notice unless there are compelling reasons to do so. British nationals in Pakistan should now consider whether it is necessary for them to stay. We advise all British nationals still in the North-West Frontier Province, Baluchistan and the Northern Areas to leave those areas immediately. Those concerned about friends and relatives who are UK citizens in Pakistan can call 0870 121 5151."
