Chris Crash - Where are you?
We are worried about Chris Crash. The last known location was Manizales, Columbia on September 11th, 2006. Has anyone seen Chris?
He is travelling on a Honda Transalp/Africa Twin. He is 6'2'' tall, likely shaved head [brown hair], Canadian boy - 220 lbs - 36 years old. Travelling alone.
His sister and Mom are very worried! Call home

Excellent - that's great timing too, I was just putting up a notice for the whole site.
For all you folks on the road - PLEASE DO keep in touch with home base on a regular basis to prevent panics like this!
Chris, a smack on the wrist with a wet noodle!

Thank You!
To everyone involved in helping us locate my brother Chris, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I cannot express my relief and want to make sure you are all made aware that without your help and support, it would have been the most frightening experience of my life.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything!!!

Stay in touch!!!!
Hey Everybody!
This is Chris.
I wanted to thank everyone for the rapid dissemination of information regarding my whereabouts, and to thank those that care about me.
After nine months on the road, it is easy to fall victim to the same location...to loose yourself in a place you enjoy....to rest...to fall off the grid for a while...and to postpone contacting the people that care about you.
I also wanted to apologize for my actions. I just want to remind others that you should not change you email patterns. I have come to realize that the adage NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS does not apply to us riders. Rather, NO ACTION IS BAD ACTION seems more fitting.
Safe riding to all,
Sincerely
Chris

There's a Colombian folk song that says "..no estaba muerto, andaba de parranda.."

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
