Information for travelling with Drone is needed
Good DAy
Iam seeking out for some advice. We will start our trip on 28 may from germany to Nepal. we will pass the traditional route ..turkey Iran Pakistan Indian...on the way back Afghanistan Tadzhikistan usw. So, my Question is regarding a Drone. Can i travel with a Drone trough the Islamic state of Islam iran...or do i have to prepare for trouble. My intention is NOT to fly in Iran or Pakistan neither in Afghanistan. But indian and nepal would be the area to flying.
Please, if someone has updated information from border crossing or any other news...it would be highly appreciated.

I would be inclined to do one of two things:
1. Declare the drone to Customs on arrival and see what happens. Better to get turned away at the border than arrested somewhere inside the country.
2. Courier or post the drone to the next safe country. Many countries have a Post Restante service where you can mail things to yourself. Plan to stay in a decent hotel on arrival and make a special arrangement for them to receive and hold the drone package for you in advance of your arrival. This works so long as the package does not attract Customs duties.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
