Sadly I'm EXTREMELY aware of customs costs. Canada Customs is positively rapacious. BUT they didn't have anything to do with your problem John, it's always the country YOU live IN that hits you.
I have an original already, was looking for the new one if it ever comes out. His wife talked to me a year ago about it, thought she might have finally done it. But, sounds like not.
Steve, it's yours!

Maybe I wasn't clear. I bought it for 59.95 plus shipping and will sell it for 59.95 plus shipping. If no one takes it by tomorrow I will just return it.
Update: I can get a $10 discount if four more people want a copy. (just received an email from Mrs. Liska)

The book is available directly from Regina Liska, email: dajali2004 ([a-t]) yahoo [dott]com
If you tell her you heard about it on HU, we'll get a small cut and it won't cost you any more. Thanks!
The book will be listed on our books page on Monday as part of a huge update on our books page. We've added about a hundred books already, and updated many more.

Does anyone know if Danny Liska is still alive--and if so, where?

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
