Movie Crossing Africa
Guys and Galls,
After a painstaking 5 months of editing it is finally ready. Our movie of our double Trans Africa trip. Down the West Coast up the East Coast in one year. 60.000km and 30 countries. The movie is informative and realy fun to look at. Who should see this movie;
• any overlander who did not film his own trip
• anyone who is considering a similar trip and is still in doubt
• anyone who is in doubt whether to choose "west" or "east". The movie will
show you both.
• anyone who wants to see a positive picture of Africa for a change
• anyone who loves a good road movie with great music.
Freebee; the first three HU members sending me their HU-name, name and address (provided they live in the EU) via the mailform on my site will receive a free copy on the single condition that they will put their review comment on this hubb after having seen the movie!
Have a look at the demo! exploreafrica.web-log.nl
cheers,
Noel

Hi Noel. I filled in the mailform, but got an error message (I think!) in Dutch which Google can't translate. Can you let me know if you got it ok?
Regards

Hello!
I was one of the lucky few to get my paws on a free sample of this new DVD.
All in all, a good DVD and as per Noel's post, I'd recommend this to anyone who is planning an overland Africa trip...nothing like some 'fresh' video to give an insight into the roads, conditions, people and sights to see.
I especially liked the bit where all of the lorries were getting bogged down in the mud. I was embarrassed for the biker with the surfboard when he did his dance (ha ha).
What I liked: Being talked thought the journey. Seeing the roads, including other overlanders in the video, the fact that they made it along both the East and West of Africa (so hopefully I will be fine on my bike too)! A good general overland experience.
What could have been better: The DVD could probably have been longer! And as per Tedmagnum's post, some chapters per country would have broken it up nicely so you can skip to sections quicker - although not much of a problem.
Summary - If you're 'doing' Africa, buy this DVD

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
