I sent him a few emails in 2005... Still waiting for a reply.
I decided that I might as well make my own or buy elsewhere. Which I did...
I have seen some of the stuff he's made though. If I'm honest, It's REALLY heavy and over engineered. It will survive anything I'm sure. Well made with good hands, no doubt... However, your subframe probably won't.
I came to the conclusion that he's not a biker or ever done any overland riding. Or he'd know that weight is a serious factor when designing bespoke luggage for motorcycles. I'm currently housing some luggage frames he made for an XR650L from another Hubb user. I think they must weight 40kg on their own and probably required HUGE amounts of subframe re-reinforcement to make possible...Which totally goes against any logic of travelling on an enduro bike.
I think his main line of work is for 4x4's and making heavy duty gates and trailers... Which would explain his approach. In many ways, I'm the same....
I think you're best off giving Gab a call at Zen Overland. He makes this stuff too and he's a RTW rider...
