Do not fully understand what you mean. Do you want to register the bike with european registration, or do you mean that while you are in Europe you want to renew your NSW registration? I had to register my bike with NSW registration while in Thailand and it can be done. Let me know and i will tell you how if that is what you want to do.

G'day david and Sheryl, thanks for your reply.
What I mean is that I am unsure if I can reregister my cagiva witjout having it inspected by a licensed mechanic in nsw to get the pink slip. If you have info on ways to do/ around this I would be greatly appreciative and would even throw in a free . best regards- dingofish

David said he hopes the is cold. They dont really understand the concept of cold in Asia.
I took my bike to Honda in Chiang mai, Thailand and had them do a registration inspection. This was not in english but the NSW Motor Registry accepted it. The paperwork look impressive. The Motor Registry told me before leaving NSW that if I could not get a local version of the inspection certificate then they would accept a letter, preferbly on some sort of official letterhead that said the following ( they gave me this wording )
I have inspected the lights, tyres, brakes and steering of vehicle xxxxxxxxxx and certify that it is in safe operating condition.
The annoying part of all this is that you still have to pay the 3rd party green slip insurance, even though it is not valid outside Australia but they will not renew the registration without the green slip being paid. Tried every way possible to get around this one but it was like bashing my head againt a brick wall.
