Suspension fitting suggestions

I wonder if any can help? I’m potentially looking at getting some new after market suspension fitted to my bike. I’m looking for advice on where in the Midlands UK would do a good job. I’m interested in fitting, yes, but servicing when it’s due as well.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Try Torque Racing, assuming it’s some kind of adventury style bike, and it’s almost Midlands. Martin has done suspension on several of my bikes and really does know his stuff.

I’m sure there are many decent workshops where you could get your suspension done, but I’d like to mention the one I used in case anyone else is looking like I was. Changing suspension isn’t cheap, and recommendations could help others.

I bought my Ohlins and had it fitted by B G Motorsport at Silverstone race circuit. They did all the usual bits and bobs like checking my rider weight with kit, making sure I got the correct rear shock spring, what’s my riding style, etc. When the suspension was fitted, they went on to check the sag and discussed all the settings with me. They asked me to go for a ride to check the settings; when I came back, they altered the settings based on my feedback. I went on another ride, and they then made some final adjustments. We discussed, finally, all the ways I could make changes, and I was recommended a few possibilities for future use.

This was my second suspension change (two different bikes), and my first experience was not at all like this! No where near as detailed. I’m sure others would either be happy to do all of this themselves, or already know of someone who might do a great job; for others who might be like me (where suspension is a black art), I really cannot recommend B G Motorsport enough.

They were excellent in every way.
