I would think the dealer you bought the bike through could reach out and cover your bike for the few days you'll be there. You should have made that a condition of sale.
If they're good guys, they'll do it. After all, it's got their plate. They could also just call it a demo bike up until you depart.

If me, I'd go DIRECT to an air line. I've had great luck with Luthhansa, but I'm sure other have good air cargo too. Call around, find out the requirements.
Lately, Air Canada has had some GREAT deals for air freight. Check them out for sure. If airline is good you won't need a middleman like MC Express or James Cargo.
If you want the good roads in UK ... leave and ride over to France. So much better. You could easily spend two weeks having fun ... better weather too! (and better food!)
