2016 Russia & Canada USA leaving from England
I've got a plan, the plan is not to have a plan, only things I need in place is visas for 2016 to enter Russia and a few other country's, I'm looking at leaving England mid June heading to Greece, from there head to Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Kazakhstan, russia, Mongolia, Russia, like to do road of bones if that's possible the cargo boat to Vladivostok, or maybe straight to Vladivostok.
This is where I'm not to sure, organise transport from here to Canada, I can take a ferry to Korea then fly to anchorage with the bike, or have the bike shipped to Canada, depends on how long this all takes, I would be happy to share a container with others, I think I would be in Vladivostok sometime in August, from there ride the bike to New York and leave the bike there with friends fly back to England, then in 2017 come back and do the tat, or do the tat in 2016, loads to think about,
I'm thinking the xt 600 for the job with the bigger plastic tank, I've got wolfman soft luggage, I've also got bmw adventure panniers that I can adapt the racks to fit the xt, I need to think this out a little bit,
I'll be interested to know if anyone from the forum is planning to do this in 2016 about the same time, possibly be interested doing some of this route with me, I'm planning most of the trip across Russia will be camping, then from there I will work on things, the likely hood is I will mix it up a bit if I cross the pond.

Hi,
Im planning to leave London at the start of June 2016, and 2 months later arrive in Vladivostok, then ship my bike to USA/Canada West coast.
My time scale may dictate a different route to yours, but I'm up for planning some parts together!

The route is just a guide things change, time scale is about spot on for Vladivostok,
I'm just in talks with air Canada, looks like it's Korea to air freight if you want to fly with the bike, that means soon as you land you are on your way after bike service of course, the other is shipping option that takes about 10 to 14 days then you fly onto Canada, Vancouver looks the best option, if you would like to discuss your plans my email is.

If you get to Korea. Check out Air Canada prices for the bike. If it's reasonable for your budget, you'll get a discount on your air ticket.

I've sent a email to air Canada last week waiting on a reply, don't think it will be the cheapest option but the fastest. It early days I'll see if I can find other options, maybe split cost with someone, or any ideas would be great
