Africa North-South (west Coast).
Hi All,
Seeing if anyone is planning this trip in early 2013? I will be on a 650 and will start from Sierra Leone.
This will be a restart of an previously aborted trip for me. Ultimately I'd like to cross over to the east side before RSA and on up into East Africa and perhaps beyond.
I'm thinking about a February kick off from Freetown.
Any body out there already?
Cheers,
CJ.

In true sad, forum geek style, I'm going to bump this post to try and keep it alive.
I'm looking to follow the coast (mostly) from Freetown until DRC and try to cross over to Zambia via Lubumbashi rd.
Would be great to team up with camping oriented travelers.
Cheers,
CJ.

Sorry Cam - you're 6 months in front of me! I'll be there at the latter part of this year.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
