Anybody in Bolivia?
Hello,
We are traveling since 10 months with our BMW 1150 Adv. We started in Quebec, Canada and drove all down. Right now we are in La Paz Bolivia. We have 7 weeks left in this country before we are planning to ride to the Brazilian Coast. Anyone wanna burn gas with us?

Hey Guys,
I am in Bonito Brazil and heading to Santa Cruz Bolivia tomorrow to get some service done on my bike. I will then be heading back towards the coast of Brazil (just waiting for the protest to die down a bit). I am from Winnipeg and left last June......Are you guys planning to hit Santa Cruz?
Cheers Ryan

I have expat friends in Santa Cruz if you need anything.
I recommend staying at Residencial Bolivar, just a block and 1/2 off the plaza. Great place, great owners, and great local flavor!

We are in potosi today, heading to Sucra for a couple of days. Then back via potosi to the salt flats and to San pedro de atacama. Traveling slow in a truck, but can still share a cold if you end up our way!

Sitting In Salta
Been in Salta for 7 days, waiting for Jama Pass to clear so I can cross to San Pedro de Atacama. Considering bypassing by going through Bolivia (Potosi to La Paz, on to Puno).
Anyone in in the area? I have to cover a lot of ground fast, as my trip is already three weeks behind schedule, but I'd love to meet up with anyone riding the area.

We had the same dilemma, and decided to go directly into Boliva, and are in Sucre now. The road up and border from Salta is fine, pretty actually. A nice drive.
Loving Bolivia! :-)

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
