Visit Jungle Junction in Nairobi and ask Chris, the owner, about places worth to ride. You will find there some travellers. Have fun and take some pics at the Ecuator signal in Nanyuki.

thanks miquel,
great advice,
meanwhile I've heard allready from other guys about jungle junction in Nairobi. I will stay there the first days to change tires and to give the bike a new chain-kit, to acclimatize and to come down.

Hi David,
very nice to hear from you.
I'm back in Germany and just read now my posts. I had 3 great weeks in Kenya. I really enjoyed our journey from Nairobi to Loyangalani. Stayed there 3 days, no travellers arrived so I decide to ride back to maralal alone and then turn right via Talangbei to Lake Baragoi. I heard from 2 Germans you met in Athopia about your trip from Loyangalani to Athiopia. I'm glad to hear you are allright and I hope Miles will find a new back shock absorber.
best greetings to Miles, Daren and his wife and the austrians.
Take care of your bike, I met Nina and Tom in JJ again, same as Marcus and the french guy with his madmax-Transalp still repairing their bikes.
safe ride
Ralph

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
