Baja in late December
Hi:
Looking for riding partners for a 3-4 week trip starting from San Diego area in late December. Heading to the bottom of Baja, catching the ferry to the mainland and possibly Copper Canyon. I'm an intermediate rider and did Baja last year on XR650R, now I have a KTM 950 SE so I can carry camping gear. Planning to camp/hotel and open to options. Leaving from Vancouver and have room for another bike in the truck and I can haul a trailer. Thanks.

Maybe see you
I'll be leaving San Buenoventura, california in a couple of days maybe see you down there.
I to am Interested in the Baja and prices of accommadations and food, etc.... I'm trying to be economical and was wondering how much it would cost in total to travel the baja at a moderate pace(two weeks max) and than cross over to the mainland mexico by ferry with my Motorcycle.
If someone, including the OP could give me a price range for such an adventure it would be appeciated. Again i want to do it as economically as possible since i'm just at the beginning of my trip south.
Any info would be good
thanx

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
