Bolivia and points beyond
I live in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Anyone passing through Bolivia is welcome to give me a shout.
I'm always up for a ride (next distance trip is a ride to Argentina Nov 2014).
I ride a cruiser . . . that said I am frequently on fairly rough non paved stretches of road and don't mind it at all (I was raised on dirt bikes) . . . but there are some REALLY bad routes down here that I can't take obviously, because of the limitation of my bike.

Im planning to be in Santa Cruz around 24-25 this month. Coming in from Brasil, Corumba. Im planning to get a new rear tyre there. Maybe get some insurance for multiple countries. I have been through Santa Cruz before once but very briefly but will stop 2-3 days this time.

I believe the UK biker mentioned in http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...eds-help-94894 had his accident in Corumba, Brazil, relatively speaking, not far from SC de la Sierra. Can anyone look in on him?

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
