Brussels to MotoGP
I'm just finishing my N. American leg of my RTW trip. I'm flying my bike to Brussels June 15, 2015 and will have a meandering trip for several months, first leg will find me at motogp at assen. After that, who knows?

Well, on the south side off Belgium, You will find Chimay and Gedinne, both beautifull little places.
But both have a public streetcircuit where you can ride on, not race on.
Every year there are a few motorbike and car streetraces.
20km from Chimay, in France, you can find "Pole Mecanique des Ardennes.
A little, technical, circuit, open 7/7.
And don't forget Francochamps and his museeum.
And You have Zolder, in Limburg.
If You need more imformation, just ask or maybe I can guide You.

Brussels is just my port of entry on June 15. Assen race is June 27. I really have no plans on when I will leave Brussels and in which general direction I will go. North, of course, but I care not what specific places I'll stop and let my nose direct me. If you'd like to ride together and have a plan and a schedule I'll be happy to follow.
cheers,
matt

hello!
My general plan has me starting in Northern Europe mid-June (assen moto gp a waypoint) and heading generally south as the summer continues. Eventually I plan to visit egypt, probably in autumn. It sounds like we are traveling in opposite directions, lets keep track and maybe meet somewhere in the middle!
cheers

I'm in Montreal international. I just handed over my DR650 to the cargo folks and will board my flight in about five hours. I'll sleep off my jet lag for a few days in Brussels and then *slowly* make my way toward Assen and MotoGP. Hope to see some HUBB members at the race or maybe meet somewhere in between. Take care,
Matt

I have no real plans for the weekend. Maybe I take a day off on friday. If you want to do a trip in Belgium let me know. I live in Londerzeel, about 25km from Brussels and Antwerp. Let me know if you are interressed. I am riding an old Super Tenere 750. I will send you my phonenumber.
Greetings,
Jurgen Lamberts.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
