From California to Baja Mexico Dec 2014
Hello forum members, searching around the Web I found this amazing site. Well, having said that here it goes. Me and my brother are embarking on trip of a lifetime. We seen the movie motorcycle diaries and ever since we wanted to do the Baja round trip. We will depart from Fresno California Dec 5 and will be back by Dec 15. We have our dad as support with a truck and a small trailer for 3 bikes and spare gas just in case. We would like to join like minded riders and tag along if it fits your dates. Time is not flexible as we all must report to work after the date. We know the road, as we were born there in Mexico, speak perfect Spanish.

Sounds pretty awesome. I assume you guys are mostly planning to offroad? What's your experience level and what are you riding?
I'm going to be in Baja Dec 5 to 16th as well and might be in for riding around for a few days or at the very least grabbing a . I have almost no offroad experience though so if you guys are getting into it deep I'll probably have to pass.
Cheers.

Hi Rob, we are actually do not plan to do any off-road riding. We will stick to the road, my brother rides a Vulcan 2000 and I ride a kawasaki ninja 1000 the touring version. As for our experience level we considered ourselves advanced. We plan to spend most of our time in a placed called Constitución, but we sure look forward to meet you or any one else along Baja.

Hey, sorry I took a while to get in touch, I was on the road for a while. I'll be riding Phoenix->Rosarito starting dec 3rd and then staying with friends and working to get the bike ready to ride to South America. Not sure if I'll be ready to roam Baja by the time you guys are there but I'll let you know when the date gets closer. If you plan to be anywhere near Rosarito/Ensenada drop me a message and I'll come meet you guys.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
