Central Asia & South East Asia 2018
Hello,
We are a couple and are planning to travel thru CA & SEA next year and are looking for others who we can link up with/travel with along with way.
At the moment we are traveling 2 up, although 2nd bike could be manbe possible too.
Dates are rather flexible but at the moment we are looking at leaving early early August and the rough plan is this: Start Europe, Russia to Kazakstan thru the Stans Mongolia then down thru China to Laos & Cambodia.
We do have a few issues /questions that we hope some experienced hands can help us with.
Our main question is regarding Mongolia and our current rough plan has us traveling thru Mongolia October-ish, meaning its getting rather cold...For those who have experience is this either; a practical possibility or a impossible/reckless/don't do it situation?
We are a biking couple and head away once a year for a 3 week-ish camping biking hiking trip, so we are used to this sorta holidaying, but never done anything this long.
Any response is welcome
Thanx
Scott & Dieiny

Hi guys,
How about changing your plan a little and joining a group for crossing China from Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan in September 2018 and than possibly crossing Birma/Thailand from India to Laos in December 2018 ?
We are 7 people already for first part. Second is still open plan.
Cheers

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
