Can you share routing in China till Kashgar?
We will be in Tibet 3rd week April and continue till Kashgar.
If route and dates fit, we can group for guide.
Caveat: we are in our car.

Bonjour JustPaint

I'm really sorry for this late response. I'm from France May 8, I think being white is "Torugart Border Point" to June 8 Then I'd like to cross 2300 km in China to enter a "Bulgan border point "to return to Mongolia. The tracks in April for us (a 800GS and 1200GSA 1) in Kyrgyzstan May Still Be too muddy. What agency did you contact? I have contacted desert_rose@sina.com , but too expensive for this trip, I am looking for a cheaper agency. help. Tiger

I got a quote of $13k for a group 4-6 bikes +1-2 cars .it takes around 20 days to visit also some places in China.Routes have to be determined and approved in advance, group need to stick together by chinese rule.
quote for Mohan/Laos to Erenhot/mongolia .that is for permits etc and guide costs.passengers and pillions can share costs as well .i also have posted another thread specifically for this route.

what are you driving, bikes ,car or?
depending on what are you driving then calculate gasoline roughly 3600km,+ hotel/food prob $40/50 and up depending where u choose to stay etc
