China Crossing Oct 2018 (Kyrgyzstan - Pakistan)
Hi all,
I have a China crossing arranged for mid/late October (dates flexible) entering from the Kyrgyzstan border and exiting into Pakistan. 8 days in total, idea to cross with the smallest amount of fees possible with the mandatory guide but still enjoy the route (which takes in the old Silk Road and Karakoram Highway).
Looking for others to join in order to reduce guide costs and of course share the adventure with!
So far we have my wife and I on two motorbikes and maybe another bike interested. All vehicles more than welcome and dates flexible to suit all party members.
Let me know if you're keen and I can post fees, itinerary etc.
Cheers,
John

Likewise if anyone needs help with the Chinese or Pakistani visa/letter of information/other processes let me know and I'll do my best to answer. Short version - it's all possible, and for us has meant we've been able to avoid Iran, which we had complications with due to our nationality and visas, but continue our overland trip from the UK to Singapore.

Hi all,
Is there a group crossing from Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan in September or October which we could still join?
We are two people in a car. It is a last-minute plan, but we thought we could still try. Would love to hear.

Hey John,
We are currently in Kazakhstan, trying to cross to Pakistan late Oct / early Nov.
Are you still on with your China transit?
Happy to join.
Cheers!

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
