China - from Laos to Kyrgyzstan
Hi
We have a 4x4 vehicle and we are preparing to go through China in early May using the NAVO tour company. We intend to exit through Kyrgyzstan and are looking to team up with others to share the costs.
Please contact us if you are heading this way too, we'd love to hear from you as soon as possible.
Happy travelling

Hi Simon
I would shop around and try and find Tibet based company. Navo has a very nice website but are not only expensive but also uses poor guides. In our 2 tours with them (Tibet and China) we had to find our own campspots as the guides do not know. In Sept we did Tibet the guide was from Shanghai could not communicate with the locals. in fact he had never been to the area's we visited. Don't get me wrong Tibet is magic I would just advise to shop around get the cheapest possible deal. Chinese Guides know very little, and Chinese do not like Tibeteans.

Hi Simon
I'm planning to do the same trip but by bike. 1 bike solo.
Am interested in sharing costs during China leg.
Contact me A.S.A.P as I'll be changing route if unable to find group to tag along with.
Regards
H.F.K.

Hi H.F.K
I have just pick up your reply, I fear it is a little late now but if you can swing it we would like to share the costs.
Enjoy your travels

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
