Hi Ellen,
we are currently (and hurriedly) looking for an agency that can arrange our trip (Kyrgyzstan to Laos, around mid-May) for us. So far, we only have expensive, I mean really expensive offers. Can you tell me the name of your agency? And btw: do you know anyone who might be interested in joining Kyrgyzstan-China-Tibet-Laos in May/June?
Thanks so much,
Jo

Re return trip
Hi Andy
Not sure if you have sorted your return trip out through China. We are entering China from Laos then heading for Kyrgyzstan. We plan to enter China 7th of May and take about 28 days to cross. We are using Navo tour company to sort things out but I am sure we still have time to change itinerary if you are interested. We are a couple with our own 4x4.
Hope to hear from you.
Simon

Hi Simon - any anyone else following this!
Our plans have changed (again!), because our truck will not be ready in time we have put back our date for leaving the UK until at least July.
So we now have to think about the best way to arrange things, we might aim for a short crossing of western China from Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan and the KKH around the beginning of October and then look at arranging a 30 day crossing of China from Nepal to Mongolia in the spring of 2015, or possibly putting the trip off until 2015.
We do need to share costs with others for China, so in the end the practicalities of forming or joining a group may well decide things.
