Do you have that many bikes that you need a whole container? Only worth it if a 4x4 is in one with a little space to spare.. Cheaper to crate I think...

Well just checking as I've met several people who think they need to book a whole container for one bike... You didn't mention any detail...

Hi Paul,
we are currently working in the Pilbara and do to it possibly coming to an early finish we may head north instead of south America. we are on two bikes, are you solo or more?? I have never posted on HUBB before and don't know if I get an email to say you have replied, so you could send a comment on our blog www.rimorterra.wordpress.com (and see if we look too dodgy to travel with:-) or email andrew.fenn@hotmail.co.uk. we might be working in Melbourne if it fails here so later in the year could work for us!

Here is a recent (2012) travelers thoughts, which will show the company used:
From Darwin, Australia to Dilli, East Timor - September, 2012 | Horizons Unlimited
and the return is here and will also show the company used:
Apparently, the company Perkins used in the example above has been bought by Toll ..See this report here:
From Dili, East Timor to Darwin, Australia - February, 2013 | Horizons Unlimited
Hope this is of help.

Hello Andrew,
We are on two bikes, four or more makes a container a viable option. Six would be nice. I'll email you.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
