Zurich to Vladivostok

Hi, we are also hoping to ship 2 bikes from Vladivostok to Vancouver late July and interested in sharing a container. Our route will be via St Petersburg, Moscow, Mongolia. Happy to catch up with anyone on the road along the way.

...stans - Mongolia - Magadan

I'm starting mid May from Croatia, Balkans, Turkey, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, somewhere in June in Tajikistan (planing Wakhan and Bartang valley), Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, July in Mongolia, July/ August in Russia to Magadan. That's the plan, how it'll end up we'll see. I'm not going to force anything if the weather turn against me.
I'm still trying to get in touch with guys in Magadan to understand how and when it's possible to arrange flight from Magadan to Moscow. For sure I'll be seeing some of you.

Hi there! We will be 2 riding the western BAM from Krasnoyarsk on light bikes (PR7 & CRF250Rally). We should be leaving Krasnoyarsk no later that 10th of July, possible to meet someone going from Irkutsk in Severobaikalsk on 13th.
From Tynda I continue north to Magadan and then back through Yakutsk and Vilyuskij trakt to Lensk, my friend will go from Tynda to Vladivostok.
At the moment I don't have companion for the Old Summer Road. I will not ride it alone. If someone will be around and want to team up for BAM or OST shoot me a message.

Dates are just rough estimates. I start much sooner and I don't have a fixed timetable.

I will be in Siberia (BAM, Viliuski Trakt, Anabar Road OSR, etc) between mid June and end of July, so there is a good chance that we cross each other somewhere on the road.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
