I'm riding my 650 strom from Holland to Kenia at the end of January 2016, I'm interested in joining.
I like to do a few weeks in Morocco and hopefully (depending on the weather) ride as much of the Atlas mountains as possible. My route is not really planned, just get to Kenia.

hey digger1,
welcome to the west coast party!
Any concrete dates that you both are taking the ferry to Morocco?

I'm flexible in dates too. My aim is to be in Gibraltar as early at the end of January as possible, depends on my job, preparing my bike and renting out my house and/or moving my stuff.
I have a stopover for about two days in Algeciras to change my tires into more dirt orientated ones. Then cross to Tanger med.
From Tanger med. I have no fixed plan, now that's freedom! Just zigzag Morocco and than into Mauritania.
I'm in the fase of applying for a carnet de passage etc.

East-west
Hey, I looked at going via the east but it seemed too difficult (currently in Georgia/Turkey and heading to Africa). Think I'll be in Morocco around Christmas time but could be convinced to go east if someone had more luck than I did figuring it out. Also, you guys going east - brrrrrr gotta ride across Europe and Turkey in January? A bit cold...
Cheers

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
