Iceland 10/7 until 18/8 2013. Who is crossing rivers with me?

Hello travel lovers on a moto!!

Who is at Iceland 10/7 until 18/8 and wants to cross rivers with me?

I'm traveling alone. I'm driving a Honda Africa Twin. I started my RTW in 2010. I'm doing it in etappes. I prefer dirt roads. I camp until i'm fed-up with the cold and start to look for a bed. I speak Dutch, French, German and simple English.

BUT: River crossings are new for me!

My schedule:

6 July Hirsthals/Denmark > Tórshaven/Faroe island
3 days at Faroe

10 July Tórshaven/Faroe island > Seyoisförour/Iceland
4 weeks at Iceland

8 August Seyoisförour/Iceland > Tórshaven/Faroe island
10 days at Faroe

18 August Tórshaven/Faroe island > Hirsthals/Denmark

I was with my Zebra AT moto in: The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Italie, Austria, Spain, Tunisia and Algeria. I travel slowly.

Lets meet!
Bye, Guus

13 days on the Faroes compared to 28 days in Iceland seems a bit lopsided

If people visit the Faroe they stay 3 days max. I'm looking forward to stay longer then that. I prefer to do things different.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
