India into Myanmar, Thailand & Laos early/mid July 2019
I would like to hear from any body interested in sharing guide costs for six days crossing Myanmar & Thailand, to get from India to Laos.
With two others, total of 3, it has the cost of US$1400 per person ( Asia Senses ). The more travelers the cheaper the price. Maximum five vehicles. There will be very limited " sight seeing "
I'm heading down from the UK to have a look around Laos Vietnam & Cambodia.
I look forward to hearing from any interested parties.
Bondie

Wow, 1400$ per person sounds really really expensive. I am doing the same border crossing for 1/3. There is a border in Myanmar/Thai where they do not require guide to enter Thailand so you can drive Thailand freely and enter Laos by yourself. JAVIER Sanchez from Osuga Myanmar Travels will happily provide you with more info and details on this border crossing.
Best of luck

Hi
UK to Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Back into Thailand, Malaysia, Australia.
I'm happy to meet up anywhere but really want to put a group together for Myanmar & Thailand. I do not require guides for any where else. I would like to book the guide for mid to late July 2019.
I'm still looking at pricing for the guides. As stated, the more participants the lesser the cost per person.

Hi Betty.
I'm going to give it a few weeks before I get to carried away getting to organised. It may be that we cant get enough numbers for July Myanmar crossing. If just the 2 of us go July it'll be about US$1200 each. How does that sit with you?
However there is a Myanmar crossing in August being put together that might work. Once people pay deposits more details will come to light so keep an eye out here. For August with 4 participants it'll be US$750.
It looks very likely a guide for Thailand will not be necessary, there's some recent reports of bikes getting in with out any problems.
Once I leave the UK @ the end of May/early June I'll probably head quite quickly to Iran to save money, Euroupe & Turkey are very expensive for me with NZ$, we could meet up in Iran?
Cheers
Bondie
