India/nepal to europe trip - very flexible..
Hi all
I'm currently in nepal and feeling keen to do a long journey back to the UK some time in the next few months. I am looking for people who may be up for that it could begin anywhere in this part of Asia and could be any time... However I would choose a route that did not cross Pakistan. Rather into tibet or if possible china through Nw india.
If you're interested in a long trip like this please let me know! The more people the better especially if there is no option but to hire a guide in tibet...
On a side note I would like to know whether there is a road into tibet from HP india or if this border has been shut

le15otl & pappoo49: Hello. I am currently considering route options from Nepal to Europe during summer of 2018 and am very interested in learning how your plans are developing. If you would be so kind, please update the thread with your route plans with associated costs(guides) and duration or PM me directly. Tentatively, I am attempting to travel from New Zealand to India between Oct of 2017 and June of 2018. Any feedback you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Nepal to Europe
Hi there,
Keep me posted if you find people to help cut costs. China seems too expensive, but I'd love to ride through some of it. I'm hoping to be in Nepal by late August, 2017. Leaving Perth in two or three weeks, riding to Darwin-Dili-Jakarta-Kuala Lumpur-flying bike to Nepal-India, etc. Haven't chosen route, but may go through Pakistan if nothing else presents itself.
Have fun!

Hey Elisa,
Probably a bit late now but do you have your Pakistan visa sorted? You need to organise it in Aus if you want to travel in Pakistan.
Cheers,
Jason

No, I don't have my Pakistan visa sorted. Just got a new passport, and will have to send it home to process, while I'm on the road. I did get some interesting information from someone on how to get this visa sorted without having to send it to your home country, though. Apparently, it can be done, especially if you don't live in the country of your passport (like me).
But that said, I've decided in these last couple of days that I may be going slower than I'm used to-- too much to see here in Western Australia-- so not sure I'll get into Pakistan by then. If not, all the best!

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
