same trip, just a bit later
Hey Kev,
by know you r probably already in India or turkey....will do the same journey as you, starting from Nepal to Germany.
Got any advice, thinks I should definitely know before going to any of these countries, documents I should have, local food that should be tasted, places that have to be visited...?
All the best, Phil

Hey Guy's
Thanks for the offer of accommodation Mike, I just saw your post,
Well I made it to Ireland and am now back in sydney, I sent my bike back by sea and it should be here soon, I need it so I can ride into the hills and be free once more
Hey Kathmandu, the only thing to be careful of is the crossing from Iran to Turkey, You have to ride high into the mountains for a few days on entering turkey and it can be pretty cold with lost of snow and ice, I went through in the snow and I don't recommend it, get your timing right and you'll be sweet
you can check my blog for more detaial if you like
Its
halfwayround - Â*Â*Â*Â* Â*Â*Â*Â*Â* Â*Â*Â*Â* Â*Â* All Who Wander Are Not Lost Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â*Â*Â*Â*
Everything else you'll figure out for yourself, oh yea make sure you get a fuel card at the border when entering Iran, without this it's hard to get fuel
Have a blast
Ride on
Kev

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
