Ireland long weekend 3 to 5 may 2014
First weekend bank holiday in May dates 3 - 5 traveling Saturday from Sunderland to Stranraer or Troon for the ferry then on to Moira where the cottage is 4 stars, that will be booked for two nights,
The Sunday will take in some really nice riding in the northern part of the Ireland or if you like to take in your own ride that's fine.
Sunday evening will be a lovely meal at The Tannery one of the finest food places in Ireland (not as expensive as you may think),
Monday morning ride to the ferry then from Stranraer or Troon back to Sunderland,
If you are interest in joining me and a friend, there is no set numbers as the cottage can sleep upto 8 very comfortable other cottages are available.
It make know difference if we meet up on route or at Stranraer or Troon ferry, I've been for the last two years its a nice easy going weekend for the start of the season, two people have dropped out this year so I thought I would post to see if anyone would be interested,
It's easy pace biking to run my new GSA in, few drinks on the night, nice food, good banter,
Cost.
Ferry £130.00 return
Accomadition £ 80.00 depends how many goes
Fuel. £. 80.00
Spending money

Iknow where moira is, about an hour from me, am north antrim coast which is beautiful part of coastline. Not fimiliar with west coast so would be useless for local knowledge but might join you guys for the craic. I have done little in southern ireland/west coast so would be cool to see it. Should be free as long as nothing crops up at work, stay in touch.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
