Kyrgistan -China- Pakistan: August 18
We are a group of 3 (2 Swedish bikes + 1 sidecar) , crossing Chinese border in mid August 18. We have already contacts with guides. Anyone interested to join?
PS: There is a similar thread for September, but this is too late for us.
Cheers
Marc

I might be interested, depending on the route. I want to do the KKH to India and proceed from there to do as little of Chinese roads as possible.
I'm driving to Australia from Amsterdam next year on my bike. I'm still not sure about dates though.

Hello, I'm planning to ride a bike from France to Malaysia. You plan looks good with me. I'm happy to join. Do you have the quotation with you? how much it will cost now? from where you will be starting your journey?

Hi
My name is Gerry and my wife and I are diving a Land Rover camper through the Stans in the summer. You can see our truck etc on the Celtic Rover website
I am interested to cross from Kyrgyzstan or Tajikistan in August to Pakistan KKH or all the way down to the freedom highway in Nepal
I would like to stay in touch in case we can form a group.
There is also a facebook group called China Transit 2018 which may be useful
Cheers

Hello,
My name is Samuel, from Spain but living in Germany. I'll be happy to join you. I am starting in Greece (in April), and heading to South-East-Asia/Oceania. My plan would be also to cross China from Kyrguistan, to Pakistan and Nepal after that.
What is your route? How much would it cost?any other information you could provide is always welcome. (Either on this post or just send me a PM)
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Samuel

China Crossing Aug 2018
Hi Folks,
Do you have a target date in mind for the crossing to China, my planning has moved forward and I am really interested in crossing mid August there is a facebook group in overland sphere "china crossing 2018" with lots of good quotes from different tour companies, but most of that group seems to be targeting early Sept which is too late for me. Perhaps if we all joined there and swapped information we could organise an early group and a late group and get some decent discount for both
I was hoping for the 13th/14th but can flex, one tip I have heard is that you need to take care about weekends and national holidays as some of the borderss are closed (did not check these specific ones yet)
Thoughts ?
Gerry

Hi Marc I sent you a pm - hopefully you got it, I am seriously interested and have a Land Rover which may help with guide costs and can meet your fixed dates.

Update on Plans
Hi Folks I have tried to contact the organiser of this thread but no reply so far, it appears he is a Scandinavian tour operator, anyway I have a quote now from Navo tours for the crossing around 1500 Euro for each car with two passengers and for the 13/14 of Aug and we have a few interested folks.
Christian you mailed me through my website but your email is not accepting my replys you must be set to only accept know email addresses, if you pm me on here we can exchange contact information.
Anyone else, including the original organiser please keep in touch as it makes a big difference if we have a bigger group of people.
Regards
Gerry

I'm still interested but haven't decided yet between this group in August and the one in September.
Anyway. Since motorcycles are banned from highways in China (lol), will you allow motorcycles to join the group?
