timing...
Hi Annette,
My pal and I are leaving southwest colorado for Panama in a week to 10 days...hopefully on the road for thanksgiving.
We have a few stops in the states but should be in mexico 5 days after we set out. Lets touch base once we are both on the road and perhaps we will cross paths.

Crossing from Texas
Hi Annette
i crossed at Presidio in Texas, great little crossing, but remember as a Brit to cross out of US first!
I'm in Durango now and loving it. The dirt roads are fantastic and everyone is incredibly friendly, ignore all that fear mongering you'll get in the States.
If you are going up to Copper canyon, remember it's cold at the rim, but lovely in Batopilas, and the road there is a blast!
Have fun,
Paddy.

Southern Mexico - still looking for a travel partner
Hi All,
In Oaxaca and just found out that my travel partner is already on the way home to the US (we split up for a couple of days as I wanted to see Mexico City).
It would be great to meet up with someone either to do Yucatan pennisula and then Central America afterwards.
Cheers,
Annette

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
