Libya Transit end Sept 08
Hi Hubbers
Is anyone interested in sharing the cost of a guide to get from Tunisia across Libya to Egypt at the end of September? The other half and I are driving our Landcruiser to Cape Town.
If a few of us can share the cost I think it's going to work out much less hassle and possibly not much more expensive than a transit visa.
On the other hand if anyone has any helpful information on how UK citizens can get a transit visa I would love to hear it!
Thanks
Lucie

Hello, I am thinkig of riding through Libya to Egypt this Sep. but I was thinking of doing this alone, without guide. I ve read an old post (8/6) http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...nce-more-35760 . If you check aurel's post, maybe you can find your own way. I havent checked that in Libyan consulate in Athens, but if I will find something interesting I will post it.

Cairo Help
Lucie,
We would be very interested in quizzing you on your Libya experience as you pass through Cairo. We're planning the Cairo-London in December. What Europe-Tunis ferry option are you going with?
Hope to catch you in Cairo.

Libya crossing
Hi Lucie,
are you still looking for people to share a guide in Libya? How many people will you be willing to share with (I assume it also depends on the space available in your car)?
Just let me know how are you going so far.
Cheers,
Helder

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
