hi
I am considering that route, Ireland and finishing in Thailand as my daughter lives there. March would suit me too.

Similar plans on our side :-). Starting end of March, beginning of April 2020 in Hamburg. Two of us (my wife and me) on one Triumph Bonneville T100 EFI. Most probably via train and ship mainly to Greece, then Turkey as well, but actually also planning to cross the STAN countries via Pamir and Karakorum Highway incl. China transit. No details regarding China tranist fixed yet but would be nice to do parts of this trip with a few more motorbikes, maybe not only to reduce costs. Some flexibility in timing should be possible.
Rgds Arne :-)

Frankfurt to Pakistan
Hey,
I'm also leaving at the end of March from Frankfurt on BMW G310GS and my route will be after Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Kurdistan, Iran and onto Stans but I will continue riding towards Mongolia and would love to cross from Mongolia to China at Bulgan-Takeshiken to Urumqi. I have asked Tibetmoto to quote me for this route but It will be expensive so I might trackback to Kyrgyzstan and enter china. They have quoted me 3000US$ and if there is a group it will be cheaper. According to my initial planning, I will be able to cross around early to mid-July. If someone has similar plans we can cross from Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan in a group. I'm Pakistani-German and planning on riding for a couple of months in Pakistan and if I can get the Indian visa then cross the Waga border and drive to Ladakh.
Looking forward to hearing from you guys.

I'm leaving the UK April 1st heading to Mongolia landing in the EU at Hoek Van Holland and then into Germany ... I'll be on a 250 Rally so might be a bit slow for you as I will taking back roads/trails most of the time but perhaps we will cross paths?
Mike.

Hi,
It’s all on hold a the moment as all borders are closed.
I’m not sure things will be any different by April 20th ... I’ll review the situation in May.
Let me know what you decide to do.
Mike.

Did you start your trip Abroad as I was planning something similar with the hope of riding on to Vietnam if I get an Indian visa.
