New York to Ushuaia May 2003

Hey all,
Im travelling to the US next week, buying a KTM640spending about a month setting it up and heading off.
I dont really have any time frame or schedule. I've travelled enough to know that even the best plans can change with meeting people who have come from the direction you are heading (and the cute Swedish backpackers met along the way).
So the plan is to nat have a detailed plan.
I am thinking of heading south to Tennessee then picking up the Trans American Trail to Oregon then back down through ...wherever, Great Western Trail? anyway ......South.
So if there is anyone else out there who is as unorganised as myself , I am eager to hear from you.
