When you going?
Aerohead
I'm looking to leave New Orleans area not later than 15 March. Have some business issues to deal with that's holding me up. Also, like the weather warming up a bit. Let me know your location and itinerary. Maybe we might cross paths. I'm all new to this, so any help is appreciated. Riding a KLR650. Still making my mods and packing, planning. Plan to cross at Nuevo Laredo and then down to Durango and Mazatlan. From there, who knows? Got 30 to 45 days or more. Hablo un poco de Espanol. I struggle, but hell, I'll learn more there. Might hole up down there awhile and learn more.

Date Set
Going to the Travelers Meeting in Virginia in April, then back to Philly for a month. Will be leaving for Mexico 9 May. Heading for Tlaquepaque for two weeks of Spanish language immersion. Planning to cross at Eagle Pass/Piedras Negras. Easy riding--6 hour days, motel and camping.
That's the plan as of today. Anyone interested in joining me is welcome.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
