Doing the same
Giday lad,
A mate and I are landing in LA on November 3, leaving after a couple of days and riding south to Rio over the next 4 months. I know a bit of a fast trip but we want to see as much as we can. We are from Brisbane. Both riding DL650's. One is blue and black with big black panniers and the other is grey and black. So if that fits with you??

me too, maybe
Heck, i was all set for a ride up to Central America in December. Yesterday my boss told me my contract ends in a few weeks. I am contemplating pushing all the way south to TDF and thence to BsAs. Am thinking 3 months or so total trip.
I ride a DL650 and live in San Francisco. I am Indian.

One Week Til We Are On the Road!
A friend and I are leaving Telluride, CO, next Wednesday (assuming a number of events transgress as planned) heading down to Panama, maybe farther, "planning" to be back in the states on April 1st.
We are going down through Silver City, NM, then to Bisbee, AZ, then maybe to Tucson to get my brakes bled (damn ABS) and then south. We want to see Copper Canyon but otherwise head south rather rapidly to the warm.
No Plans, see you all down there.
Not much here yet, but it will fill out soon.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
