Mexico and Central America in October '06
Looking for a Riding Partner
I'm planning a 35-40 day trip beginning about October 7, 2006, from the Houston-area through Mexico (crossing near Brownsville) and through Central America (stopping in Panama City). Then riding back to Texas. On the way down to Panama I plan to spend a few days in Guanajuato, Taxco, Oaxaca, Copan, Tegucigalpa, Puntarenas, David, and Panama City. While I am prepared to do the trip alone, it would be nice to have a traveling companion with his/her motorcycle. The timing and route in not set in stone, and is negotiable with a riding partner.
I am married (but she doesn't ride) and my children are grown and doing their own things. But I love adventure and the freedom of motorcycling. So, if you also love it, and you can make the trek through MX and Central America, lemme hear from you on this thread.
See ya.
