Smile Morocco December 2016/January 2017 till March 2017

Hi, I'm in the beginning stages of planning a trip to Morocco to begin at the end of this year/start of next year. Returning early March next year. Start will be UK/Norfolk traveling through France and Spain, maybe a detour to Portugal, then back to Spain and onto Morocco.

If anyone is up for joining me, please send a message.

I'll be camping to keep costs down, yes it will be cold at the start of the trip, I did the Alps and Pyrenees last winter 2015 and did some camping.

It won't be a race just a leisurely ride taking in the sights and culture, there will be some off roading, it's Morocco after all.

Age and gender not an issue as long as you've got a sense of humour, Blackadder, Monty python type we'll get on.

As I said I'm only just starting to plan so any input is welcomed.

All the best and stay shiney

Mark

I shall be attending the UK hubb event in June, before a little trip to Ireland. Look out for the f800gs zombie outbreak response vehicle aka Beast.

Heading in a similar direction

I'll keep an eye on this thread. I'll be reconnecting with my bike DRZ400S in late August to continue with my ride from Japan to ??? I'll be coming from Tbilisi, Georgia across Turkey and then probably Greece etc. Also traveling cheap and cheerful and keen to see some off-road sections.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
