Myanamar guide share India to Thailand ~ December 2016

I've seen a lot of posts about sharing guides through Myanmar, though not many about how they turned out :s Most of them seem to be going in the opposite direction than me unfortunately.

I'm still in early planning stages, but I'm just gauging interest from people at the same stage. Being so early in the planning, obviously the date will certainly change, earlier or later by up to 4 weeks is probable. I'm really flexible at the minute since I don't have a lot of ties and it's right in the middle of my trip so it can shift around a lot.

Anybody interested? I'll check back again before I have to book something, around August I guess.

Yes I could be interested if its in November. I would prefer a 10 day plus tour rather than a 7 day tour but..

Awesome, Mid November is the very earliest it might be, given the time I'm leaving from the UK. But I'll keep in touch nearer the time. I'm actually heading for NZ!

I might also be interested. I'll arrive early November (1st week or so) at the border of India - Myanmar. I'll be travelling with another person from China to Pakistan who might also be interested to join. Let's keep in touch.

Heyas, I'm on my paused rtw in UAE right now and thinking about heading on. India Myanmar Thailand is one option I favor right now. Still I don't have any details layed out but I would certainly be interested, let me know if you get more certain about dates.
Also, will you travel through Pakistan? If so would you be interested to team up for that as well?

I'm still looking to put this together and will be locking dates down soon. Not sure if it's worth waiting until closer to the time to jump in another group or not, since I'll be on the road. Will keep this updated with info though

Hey joshuwaa, we're two bikers going from London to Vietnam, and will be looking at doing the same crossing around mid-November! I think we should definitely team up on this one! Doing a China-Pakistan Crossing about two weeks after JoeBloggs.
Please let me know if you manage to figure out which dates work for you best and we can take it from there!
Tim

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
