Myanmar Crossing Thailand -> India late June 2019
Hey there,
We're planning to cross Myanmar from Thailand to India in the end of June with our two motorbikes. But we don't have experience with that. We've already been scrolling through the latest threads, but there are some questions left, because the information is a bit inconsistent. Is a guide really required for Myanmar? And if yes, what is a good and cheap agency? We're travelling on a low budget and we have few demands.
And actually we're looking for some other people travelling this route to share the costs.
Who knows about the agencies and the prices? Is there already a group for this time we could join?
Looking forward to your answer and help,
Thank you,
Susi and Matthias

SolarTuk
Hi Susi. How is the planning going? I am part of a journey around the world, in an electric/solar Tuk Tuk (see www.solartuk.org). We are planning to be in Myanmar in late June as well, travelling from Mae Sot to Tamu. Maybe we could meet up for part of the trip?
We can only travel 200km-250km a day, before we need to recharge, so unless you're happy to take a relaxed pace, maybe we won't be able to keep up for the whole journey. But it would be great to stay in touch.
Can I ask how your planning is going? Have you found a good guide? We are still in the market (a bit late on this one), and any help or leads would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Eddie
