Need a Southern Spain riding partner for a few days in Nov.
I was planning to go to Seville in Nov, but my riding partner has backed out on me. It seems she has fallen in love and now can't meet me, lol.
That leaves me still wanting to go to Seville but going alone (boring). My dates are not set as of yet, but I would prefer late Oct/early Nov I think. My plan was to tour Seville for a few days and then rent a bike and hit the roads, using Seville as my base of operations, but I could easily bounce around, too. I'd be flying in and out of Madrid.
If you're interested in either being a tour guide OR just hitting some good MC roads please let me know. I'm hoping to get my airline tickets nailed down really soon.

Hi TonUp
Sorry to hear you've been left in the lurch by your mate. Who knows, by the time November comes around maybe she'll have fallen out of it and will be able to go after all :confused1: !
Anyway, Seville is a stunning city, you'll love it. You're gonna be nicely placed for a bit of coastal touring too and that area of Spain is simply fabulous. Have you checked out the cost of bike rental there? I imagine it will be fairly pricey (as it tends to be everywhere!) but it really is worth the effort to have a good tour. I just hope the weather holds out for you though. I guess you're gonna be in that "hit or miss" climate at that time of year but whatever its like it'll still be better than here. I was in Germany and Holland in June for 2 weeks and it rained all day, EVERY day!
Wish I had the time to go with you, but I'm sure you won't have any difficulty finding an accomplice for your trip. Good Luck.
Chris

I was in Seville a couple of weeks ago and, on returning to my bike, found a card on it from a guy welcoming me and inviting me to ring him and join him for a .
I could not, as I was moving on, but I did cntact him by Email promising a next time I was in the area.
His name was Joaquin and his Website is Free Easy Biker - Joaquín Ogallar Barragán
Try him - he seems keen, knowledgeable and certainly local, but may not be everyones cup of tea.
I can let you have his phone number when I get home in 2 weeks (I am at the moment in Moscow) if you PM me.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
