American Highway 2017
Hi Rob,
Regret my late reply, I have noe checked my mailbox for a long time.
Are you still planning your trip ?
My plans, sofar;
Shipping my 1200 gsa to BC sometime latter part of Sept 2017.
Going up to Prudhoe Bay -
Turning there towards Southern Cal/Mex/Baja
And then down central America - and South America/Ushuaia
Like you, I prefer seeing gravel and nature -
Grounds for teaming up ?
I.

American Highway - Mid 2017
Hi Rob and Ivar,
I'm also planning a trip from Canada to Argentina leaving in mid 2017 as well.
Thinking of shipping my F800GSA from England to Halifax NS, then riding across Canada, up to Prudhoe Bay, then head south to Ushuaia following the West Coast.
And i definitely prefer going off road, makes for a much more exciting journey!
And hoping to camp as much as possible, (hoping the Alaskan winter isn't too bad
Would love to hear more about your plans and join you guys if your interested?
Would be cool to hear from you if you are!
Ben

Hi Rob, Ivar and the others!
I'm currently 30 years old and situated in Germany. I'm also planning a trip through south America in 2017. Starting point probably will be Bogota or somewhere else in Colombia. Endpoint Buenos Aires after travelling to Ushuaia. I plan to ship my bike (CB500X Adventure) by air.
Travel time is currently planned to be Oct. 2017 to Jan. 2018 but I'm flexible with that.
Perhaps it fits and we can team up, travelling together. I already figured out a route. What period of time do you plan for your travels?
Greetings
Johannes

I am looking for riding partners for just such a trip. I'm 68 retired & wanting to ride. Did a tour with a group in South Africa 2 years ago, just finished 4 months solo in Australia & New Zealand. Not done yet.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
