Panamericana
Hallo zusammen

Here's my first good deed for the new year. A quick Google translation to English for Balaba...................shu
Hi, everyone
I want to do the Panamericana from Anchorage to Ushuaia next year.
I would like to start with my Yamaha T7 motorcycle in the middle of June.
I am recently retired, have been riding a motorcycle since my youth and am looking for someone who might want to ride the tour or just part of it.
If you are interested, it would be good if we could meet beforehand.
I am male, 65 years old, positive and full of anticipation.

One thought - stay off the PAH itself as much as you can - get into the mountains and byways. Although the PAH is a good way to get from A to B there are many sections which have heavy traffic, lots of debris on the road, and are relatively uninteresting.

Another Panamerica Rider
My son and I will also be heading from the US to Ushuaia in the summer of 2022. We will be leaving from Washington State in early July and riding around the West including the Continental Divide Trail before dropping into Mexico in late August. We plan on a very non-direct route. I'm sure we will ride on portions of the Panamerican Hwy, but it won't be the prime path. Hope to hit Ushuaia around the first of the year. At least that's the plan at the moment. Plans have a habit of changing though
It will always be good to know who all else is making the run at around the same time. We will each be riding new KLR650s. Anyone else headed that way say hello.

I am planning to travel to the south America
I was considering going around late August early September 2022
I would welcome the opportunity to ride with another rider.
Would my initial plans fit in with yours ?

@Balaba, @Daimler
Ziel ist ebenfalls Ushuaia, was sonst :-).
I start in December from Mexico with a RE Himalayan which I will buy there used. Duration three months/year then 9 months home for work. I take my time, don't think that the first season is enough for the whole of Mexico. If it does, then continue to Guatemala, Belize, etc. Destination is also Ushuaia, what else :-).
i speak spanish, that will help.
I ride since 1988, yearly holiday trips through Europe, aprox. 10-15.000km /year.
hope to get good information from you

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
