Planning trip 2012

Hi there folks.
Starting to plan next years trip.
So far it looks like:-
Picking up the bike in Athens around 20th May 2012 and heading back to Scotland. Allowing myself 2 to 4 weeks to get back, so plans are "flexible".
If anyone is in the area or on route and would meet for a few s ?.
I would love to meet local bikers or bike clubs in Greese and outer country on my on my route back,
As yet I have not decided, go through Italy, or head north from Athens - I'm open to ideas/suggestions.
Regards
Rory

What sort of bike are you picking up Rory?

If you tell me where you have ridden before i could perhaps suggest a route, or at least some places worth visiting.

Picking up a Pan-european st1100.

I've toured mostly Western Europe - Spain, France, Ireland, Bleguim, Holland, Germany, Denmark , Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuainia, Poland , Slovakia and Chech Rep.

I've not been East yet so any tips would be most welcome

I'll be in Athens about 20th July.
Going to spend a few days there before I head for France.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
